Crash

Crash had to be one of the most heart fulled movies I have ever seen.  It was such an amazing movie that you can learn about from.  They had basically every race in the movie and how they really deal with their lives and the racism around them. My favorite character was Michael Pena, who played Daniel.  He had to put up with Sandra Bullock's racist comments that were said right in front of him.  But he's is not your stereotypical Mexican. He is something more.  He is trying to make a living for his family and protect his daughter from all the violence that takes place in LA. He is such a good father to his daughter and the "invisible cloak" seems to work when the shop owner shoots his gun.  I'm still shocked by the whole movie as a whole because I really enjoyed it.  There were so many heart stopping moments, but then you were able to be relieved once they were over and nobody was hurt.  That is except when the cop shoots the captain's baby brother.  Thomas had some what redeemed himself when he stood up for Mr. Howard, but that completely went away when he  used his racist instincts and shot the boy because he thought the boy was getting out a gun.  That was by far the saddest part of this movie. But overall this was an amazing movie and I am very happy we got to watch it.
